Whats the best website to use for calorie counter and fitness tracker?
I get different numbers from different websites. Some will tell me to eat 1200 calories per day and others will say eat 1400 calories per day to lose 2 pounds per week. Also, after I put in my activity for the day and number of calories burned it adds more calories that I can still eat for that day. I am confused. So far I have used webmd and the daily plate
I tend to use http://www.prevention.com. Just click "My Healthy Trackers" on the far right of the screen. It's free to sign up.
It bases the calculations on your height, weight, age, and basic activity level before exercise, while most use a set basic weight. It will also helps you get the calorie values for foods you eat throughout the day, calories burned for various activities based on weight, as well as graphs how many calories you are burning over how much you are consuming. It is a VERY helpful tool.
You have to set up a goal weight loss and by what time you want to achieve it for it to show you how much to eat per day to reach it, but it does give you that option. There are a lot of other useful graphs it gives you too, as well as a way to track measurements and mood, as well as custom things you might want to track (like water intake or vitamins taken, or sleep, etc.).
I hope this helps. Good luck.
